About The Scarlet Veil Sisterhood:

The Scarlet Veil Sisterhood integrates an eclectic collaboration of sacred dance, magical skills, Goddess studies and renewed ancient ceremonies rooted in various traditions including Tantra, Thelema, Wicca, Paganism, Gnosticism, Sufism, Judaism, and Shamanism. As we step fully into our creative source at the Core of our bodies through movement and meditation, we experience the Loving Wisdom and Power of The Goddess informing our cells of our past, present and true potential. Through this devotional act of embodying the Goddess we can create our lives; we can heal, transform and empower ourselves and our community, while expanding our consciousness in service to both personal and global evolution. The Scarlet Veil Sisterhood was founded by Loraia Ward in the year 2004 and continues to be in a slow and organic process of evolution.

The Scarlet Veil Sisterhood offers an invitational Initiatory Process for women devoted to The Tantric Dance of the Sacred Feminine. While the meditation is itself a powerful path, some women are called to walk the path of the Priestess. After a series of initiations where Tantric Knowledge is transmitted along with class instruction, a woman may receive an invitation to become an ordained Priestess within the Scarlet Veil Sisterhood. The Priestesses are devoted to the spiritual path of the Sacred Feminine and to the art of Divine Love and Balance. The Priestesshood offers community a vessel for sacred movement and ritual in honor of various life transitions and rites of passages.
